Deputies are asking the public for help in identifying a man in connection with a lewd act at a northwest-side Walmart.

On April 8, deputies were called to Walmart Supercenter at 7635 N. La Cholla Boulevard to a report of suspicious activity, said Deputy Ryan Inglett, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.

Deputies learned that a man was seen using a cell phone to take a photograph underneath a woman's skirt, Inglett said. He said security personnel called 911.

The man, who was captured on video surveillance, is described as African American, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has long, black hair. He was last seen wearing a black or dark blue baseball cap, and a dark-colored shirt and sweatpants.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.Β
