A pickup truck rolled on Interstate 10 near Orange Grove Road Tuesday night and burst into flames, sending four people to the hospital.

Two adults were transported with minor injuries, and two minors suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries, said Capt. Brian Keeley of Northwest Fire District.

The crash was reported by a 911 caller shortly before 8 p.m., and several more callers reported that the truck caught fire, Keeley said.

The truck was traveling west on I-10 and rolled near Orange Grove Road. It came to a stop in the median, said Keeley.

When paramedics arrived, they found four of the truck's occupants near the crash. Firefighters put out the fire while paramedics treated the injured.

I-10 eastbound lanes were open and westbound lanes were restricted, Keeley said.

Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers were investigating the crash. No further information was immediately available.Β
