A Tucson man in a rollover Monday morning on Interstate 10 between the Avra Valley and Tangerine exits died at Banner-University Medical Center.
He was identified as Julian Zepeda, 29, said Quentin Mehr, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman.
Zepeda was traveling west on I-10 when he lost control of his Ford pickup and ran off the road into the median, Mehr said.
The truck rolled several times and Zepeda, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, said Mehr.
It is not known why he lost control of the truck, Mehr said. He said there were no indications that impairment was a factor in the crash.
Multiple motorists called 911 to report the crash about 8:30 a.m., said Capt. Brian Keeley of Northwest Fire District. He said when the first crew arrived they found law enforcement officers and an off-duty paramedic giving aid to the man.
