A man can be seen vandalizing the front doors of the Rialto Theatre downtown on July 9, 2016.

Tucson police are asking the public's help in trying to identify a man responsible for spray-painting graffiti on the downtown Rialto Theatre, 318 E. Congress St., on July 9.

The man might also be responsible for tagging on a business mural on North Fourth Avenue and East Sixth Street around the same time, as well as a similar tagging at 122 E. Seventh Street.

Police said the man, in his 20s or 30s, can be seen in video surveillance from the theater tagging the front doors at around 3:45 a.m. The entire door area was painted over with pink and black paint.

Vehicles can be seen driving past the man as he vandalizes the theater. At one point in the video two unknown males walk up to the man and watch as he tags the building.

Anyone with information on the vandal, can call 88-CRIME.
