Vandals shot windows at a county building with a pellet or BB gun and caused $15,000 in damage, county officials said.

The culprits caused the damage Jan. 17-18 at the county's new Public Service Center at 240 N. Stone, according to a news release.

No one was hurt in the incident, authorities said.

The service center houses the county's Consolidated Justice Courts, County Assessor, Treasurer and Recorder's offices.

It will take six to eight weeks for the new glass to be installed by the subcontractor that did the glasswork for the building, said Lisa Josker, director of facilities management.

The building opened in 2015.

Tucson police are asking anyone with information to call 88-CRIME.Β
