Thirty-eight students implicated in a cheating scandal at Tucson High Magnet School will not be graduating this week.
Earlier this month, the Tucson Unified School District launched an investigation after a teacher reported that scores in her electronic gradebook had been changed.
Officials believe students may have seen the teacher inputting her password and mimicked the keystrokes to get into the system on their own.
After three students changed their own grades, they then began charging their peers to make changes, district officials say.
TUSDβs legal department is reviewing the matter to determine whether law enforcement needs to be contacted.
The seniors involved will have the chance to make up the class over the summer. Ten juniors who were involved will face other consequences, along with having to make up the class.
