Tucson Unified School District's students are helping make their schools cleaner.

Tucson Clean & Beautiful is spearheading an effort to inspect and grade some TUSD schools as part of its "Best Day Ever Kids Cleanup Challenge."

Mission View Elementary School was certified as litter-free, as there were only 20 tiny fragments of litter found at the time of inspection. Hollinger K-8 got an "excellent grade" and Ochoa Community Magnet, "good."
