The Metropolitan Education Commission is hosting its 20th annual career and technical symposium.

More than 450 career and technical education students from all over Pima County will gather at the University of Arizona Student Union Ballroom, 1303 E. University Blvd. on Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to learn about 21st century careers.

University of Arizona and Pima Community College representatives will be at the event to talk to students about academic requirements for their chosen careers.
