The state’s top education official is scheduled to visit Marana on Monday evening.

Diane Douglas will hold a public forum at Gladden Farms Elementary School, 11745 E. Gladden Farms Drive, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The visit is part of her β€œWe are listening” tour, during which she travels around the state to hear from educators, parents and students.

The forum is open to the public.

Douglas will discuss her AZ Kids Can’t Wait plan and the Every Student Succeeds Act, a new federal law replacing No Child Left Behind.

Members of the public who are unable to attend the Gladden Farms forum but want to submit feedback are invited to do so by emailing HearingEveryVoice@azed.gov.
