Tucson police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that's left the driver with life-threatening injures, authorities said.
Tucson Fire department dispatched rescue crews to the area of East 22nd Street and South Randolph Parkway, to help free the driver, who was trapped in the vehicle, according to a tweet.

The patient has been transported to the hospital.
The westbound curb lane of 22nd Street is closed to traffic while police investigate the crash, according to a tweet by Tucson Police Department spokeswoman, Sgt. Kimberly Bay.
