The University of Arizona campus is hosting an additional week of in-person early voting services for students starting this week, a week earlier than previously planned, the Pima County Recorder’s OfficeΒ announced.

The on-campus voting site, in the Santa Cruz Room on the third floor of the Student Union at 1303 E. University Boulevard, opened Monday, Oct. 21. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Thursday, Oct. 31, with extended hours on Friday, Nov. 1 till 7 p.m.

While the student union voting site will not be available to the UA community on Nov. 5 itself, Emergency Voting will be offered in the days leading up to Election Day: from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, and Monday, Nov. 4.

On Election Day, a Vote Center will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church at 915 E. Fourth Street, which officials said is β€œwithin walking distance of the Student Union.”

The Pima County Recorder’s Office encourages “college students and newly registered voters” to find additional information online at recorder.pima.gov/VoterID on “citizenship and residency requirements in Arizona for alternatives to an Arizona driver’s license.”
