Tuesday, July 30 is primary election day, in which Pima County voters who didn’t vote early will cast their ballots for numerous local, state and federal races.
More than 120 voting locations are available across the county. They will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
A list of open voting centers can be found by visiting www.pima.vote. Click the “Voting Locations” tab and select “Election Day Vote Centers” to find an interactive map.
Voting rolls are now digital, the Pima County Elections Department says, but a print-out ballot associated with the requesting voter is available upon request.
July 1 was the last day for Arizona voters to register for the primaries; early ballots were sent out on July 3 and early voting began that day.
As of Monday, there are 623,841 active Pima County voters, according to the County Recorder’s Office. Among them, 223,148 are registered Democrats, 175,186 Republicans and 206,133 are independent voters, the office says.
The Recorder’s Office mailed out 341,180 ballots and, among those returned so far, has turned over 143,446 to the Elections Department for counting, the office said Monday. Those include mail ballots, in-person early voting ballots and overseas/military voters.
As of Friday, 116,159 early ballots had been processed, the Elections Department says.
Voters can track their ballots through the recorder’s website at: www.recorder.pima.gov/BallotInfo
