Here is a look at the candidates who have filed to run for non-partisan offices in November’s general election, according to the Pima County Elections department.

Write-in candidates for non-partisan offices have until July 22 to file to run for office, the department says.

Pima Community College

District 1 − Nicole Barraza is running unopposed for the two-year term seat.

District 3 − Maria De La Luz Garcia, the incumbent, is facing a challenge from Kristen Randall, a former Pima County constable.

District 5—Incumbent Luis Lopez Gonzalez is challenged by Ricardo “Richard” Hernandez and Karla Morales.

Fire Districts

Arivaca − No candidate has filed for the two seats, Pima County Elections information shows.

Avra ValleyLuis Castaneda, the AVFD board chairman, is running unopposed. There are two open seats.

Corona De TucsonIncumbents Phillip Karhoff, the board clerk, and Jason Wagner, a board member, are running unopposed for the two seats.

Drexel Heights − Jim Bertrand, a write-in candidate, is running unopposed for one of three open seats.

Golder RanchBoard member Steve Brady and vice chair Wally Vette are running unopposed for two of three open seats.

Green ValleyBoard directors Jeff Jamieson and Paul Ober, as well as board clerk Nancy Schuster are running for the three seats. The Green Valley Fire District was officially renamed to the Santa Rita Fire District starting July 1.

Hidden ValleyChairman Lee Alter, clerk Greg Milward and challenger Trevor Mulligan are facing off to fill the two seats.

Mescal-J6 − No candidates have filed for the two seats.

Mount Lemmon − John Cusolito is the only candidate running for the two seats.

NorthwestChairman George Carter, clerk Peg Green and vice chair Cyndell West have filed to run for the three seats.

Picture RocksBoard Chairman David Seese and board member Shirley Putnam have filed to run for three open seats.

Rincon ValleyClerk Kevin McKinley, a write-in candidate, is the only person to file to run for the two open seats.

Sabino Vista − Kelly Kennedy, Lawrence Subran and Sally Weaver have filed for the three open seats.

Sonoita-Elgin − No candidates have filed to run for the three seats.

Tanque Verde Valley − No candidates have filed to run for the two seats. A third, two-year term seat is up for election, and no candidates have filed for it either.

Three PointsBoard Chair Richard Kennedy, Sr., board member Daniel Tankersley and board clerk Wendy Allen-Mattias have filed for the three open seats.

Tucson Country Club EstatesBoard Chair Ken Ramsden, as well as board members Carl Maré and David Ridings have filed for the three open seats.

Why Fire − No candidates have filed for a single open seat.

Water Districts

Metro Domestic Water Improvement District − Luis Castaneda and Annette Sostarich have filed for the two open seats.

Green Valley Domestic Water Improvement District − Lee Lemas and Board Director Edwin Storey have filed to run for the three open seats.

Mt. Lemmon Domestic Water Improvement DistrictBoard Chairman Stuart Shacter and board member Pat Klein have filed to run for three open seats.

Why Domestic Water Improvement District − Linda P. Hood is the only candidate who filed to run for two open seats.

Health Districts

Ajo-Lukeville Health District − Arlene Dreste is the only candidate filed for three open seats.
