Roadrunner

When the project is complete, motorists on Ina will no longer have to wait for trains to pass.

As work proceeds on the $120 million Ina Road-Interstate 10 interchange project, there will be some new closures and lane restrictions in coming weeks.

On the interstate itself, both left lanes will be closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.

On Oct. 23 and 30, there will be intermittent 15-minute closures for both directions of travel between 4 a.m. and noon. Law enforcement will be on the scene to direct traffic.

Ina near the Santa Cruz Bridge will be reduced to one lane from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, and starting Sunday, Oct. 16, at 6 a.m., the right westbound lane will be closed for roughly two weeks. Westbound Ina will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. at Camino de la Cruz through the end of October.
