Thunderstorm chances will increase in areas south and east of Tucson Tuesday, as the city experiences temperatures around 105 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Officials believe there will be an "uptick" in monsoonal activity in the Tucson area by tomorrow afternoon and through the weekend.
