A 66-year-old woman was killed and two people were injured in a head-on crash earlier this month southwest of Tucson, authorities say.
On April 19, Ashely Smith was driving east on Arizona 86 near Ryan Airfield when the driver of a westbound car went over the center lane and collided with her vehicle, the state Department of Public Safety said Wednesday in an email.
The 26-year-old driver of the westbound car and a 70-year-old passenger in Smith's vehicle were taken to a Phoenix-area hospital with critical injuries, the release said.
