A woman says she was fondled early Sunday morning by a man who pretended to be her Rideshare driver, UA police say.
The incident began about 12:45 a.m. when the woman entered what she thought was her Rideshare vehicle at Main Gate, the entertainment area near the University of Arizona campus.
The woman was driven to her residence near East Second Street and North Vine Avenue. As the two sat in the vehicle, the woman says the man initiated contact which led to unwanted touching over her clothes, UA police say.
She was able to get out of the vehicle and go to a safe location, campus police said.
The investigation continues.
