No one was injured in a Monday night fire that tore through a midtown Tucson house, the Tucson Fire Department said.

The fire was reported about 9: 50 p.m. in the 1700 block of South 29th Street, near South Country Club Road.

Firefighters found the house fully engulfed. No one was inside and there were no injuries, though one person at the scene was treated for smoke inhalation, Tucson Fire said in a news release.

A broken natural gas line and a partial roof collapse hindered the firefighter’s efforts and a second alarm was called.

The fire was under control at 11:29 p.m., TFD said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
