Two people were killed in an early morning fire Thursday on Tucson's southeast side, authorities say.
The fire was reported about 3:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of East Calle Osito, near South Kolb and East Golf Links roads, Tucson police said.
Both people were found inside of the home and were pronounced dead on the scene.
A firefighter with the Tucson Fire Department also sustained minor injuries. A dog a the house was not injured and taken from the scene.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. Details are limited as the investigation continues.
Additional details are to be released after next of kin have been notified of the fatalities, the Tucson Fire Department has said.
