A man was sentenced to prison for theΒ 2015 death of a 46-year-old woman, officials say.
Christopher Raboin was sentenced to 10Β½ years in prison for manslaughter, said Pima County Superior Court spokeswoman Krisanne LoGalbo.
In November of 2015, police responded to an initial report of a burglary at a home near North Tucson Boulevard and East Prince Road, Arizona Daily Star archives show.Β
When police arrived to the home, a person pointed to a car that was driving away. Police followed the car and eventually arrested Raboin.
Meanwhile, other officers entered the home and found a woman with "obvious signs of trauma" and it was determined that she had been assaulted by Raboin. She was pronounced dead at the scene and was identified as Rosalia Gilbert, archives show.
Detectives said Raboin and Gilbert were in a relationship.
