Wednesday's weather in Tucson

A little rain and cold couldn't deter William Lewis, 66, a native-New Englander, from his daily morning walk at Morris K. Udall Regional Park, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road, as a winter storm system brought rain to the metro Tucson area on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, in Tucson, Ariz. Photo by Mike Christy / Arizona Daily Star

A winter storm will be sweeping into the area from the west tonight, bringing with it a good chance of rain for most valley locations.

Snowfall is possible for elevations as low as 3,500 feet, with accumulations possible for areas above 4,500 feet.

The storm won't last long though: It's expected to be on its way back out of town by tomorrow.
