Tucson faces an especially hot work week, the weather service says.
The high temperature in Tucson could reach 112 degrees both Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in Tucson. Both would be all-time record high temperatures for August here.
Monday is forecast to reach 109.
Thunderstorms also are possible this week, but their intensity and reach into the metro Tucson area were uncertain, according to the weekend forecast.
