Tucson's hot streak is finally going to take a break.
The city set a new record Friday for the number of consecutive days over 90 degrees, the National Weather Service reported.
Friday's high was 93.
The 127 straight days broke the city's 126-day streak in 1924. Tucson's weather records have been kept since 1894.
However, "There is an end in sight," the weather service said.Β
A low-pressure system brought cooler temperatures Saturday, a day that had "a 90% chance to be at or less than 89 degrees."Β
