United States - January 30, 2025 A passenger plane carrying 60 people collided with a Black Hawk military helicopter on approach to a Washington DC airport on Wednesday, authorities said, as search and rescue operations got underway around the Potomac River. "A PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet collided in midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter while on approach to Runway 33 at Reagan Washington National Airport around 9 pm local time," the FAA said.
