SaddleBrooke centenarians set national swim records
- Updated
Mary Anne Cooper, 101, and Fred Klein, 100, both set national U.S. Masters Swimming records in their 100 to 104 age group Tuesday, April 26. Cooper swam a 200-yard backstroke with times noted at the 50 and 100-yard marks, and Klein swam the 50-yard backstroke. There are no recorded times for any of those events, making Klein and Cooper national record setters. Johanna Willett and Ron Medvescek / Arizona Daily Star 2016
