I have family in Benson, a sleepy little community of around 5,000 people. A real estate company want to build a HUGE new development of 28,000 houses there, claiming it will be "environmentally sensitive"!! Such BS! How is destroying tens of thousands of desert acres 'sensitive'?? It will also dramatically diminish the water supply and empty parts of the San Pedro river. The permits should be withdrawn.
