It's the dog days of summer and the major headlines in sports include NBA free agency and the MLB All-Star Game. It's also a time for several fringe players and draft picks in the association to prove their worth during summer league for a potential roster spot with an NBA team.
This year the NBA Summer League will be featured in three cities: Salt Lake City, Sacramento and as always, Las Vegas. The Jazz and Kings each hosted four teams for a few games before the league made its way to Vegas for the main event from July 6-17.
