Gordon was rumored to be a possible target for the Los Angeles Lakers according to ESPN, but instead signed with the Magic to become the highest paid ex-Wildcat currently in the NBA and surpassed Andre Iguodala who will earn $17,185,185 in 2019 for the Golden State Warriors.
Gordon just finished his fourth season in the NBA and has been one of the more active UA players from the Sean Miller regime.
Gordon appeared in the slam dunk contest in 2016 and was most recently featured in "Uncle Drew," a movie which features notable NBA names like Kyrie Irving, Reggie Miller, Shaquille O'Neal, Nate Robinson and Chris Webber.
Gordon returns to the Magic after probably his best season in Orlando averaging 17.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists while playing a career-high, 32.9 minutes per game. He also shot a career-best 33.6 percent from 3-point range.
