McKinley Wright led the Buffs to the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals.

LAS VEGAS -- The Arizona Wildcats will face Colorado in a Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinal game Thursday at 1p.m. after the Buffs made 13 of 21 3-pointers en route to a 97-85 win over ASU in a first-round game Wednesday.

Freshman McKinley Wright led Colorado with a double double of 20 points on 8-for-14 shooting plus 10 assists and he also dished eight assists. Tyler Bey added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

ASU (20-11) will now have to wait until Selection Sunday to learn if its strong nonconference play will still earn it an NCAA Tournament berth. The Sun Devils shot 47.6 percent from the field but were outrebounded 39-36.

Colorado, which beat Arizona in Boulder but lost to the Wildcats at McKale Center, shot 52.5 percent overall from the field after losing four of their last games entering the tournament.
