If Chicago Bulls fans weren't sold on everything Lauri Markkanen did for the Wildcats last season, maybe his performance in the FIBA EuroBasket will open some eyes.
After leading Finland to a double-overtime win over Poland on Sunday, Markkanen had 17 points and six rebounds to lead the Finnish "Susijengi" (roughly translated as "Wolf Pack") to a win over Greece.
Markkanen is now averaging 22.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in the EuroBasket event.
Finland is now a surprising 3-1 in pool play, to the delight of home fans in the games at Helsinki.
