Conference of champions: Pac-12 sets pace for NCAA again with 12 national titles
- Updated
The Pac-12 just keeps winning. Here's a look at a remarkable 2017-18 season.
Pac-12 leads the nation for 13th straight year
UpdatedOregon State won its third College World Series title in program history on June 28, giving the Pac-12 the most championships among NCAA Division I schools for the 13th consecutive academic year.
Six different schools accounted for the conference's 12 national titles. Stanford led the way with four, while UCLA (3) and USC (2) both brought in multiple championships. Arizona, California and Oregon State each added one.
No other conference combined for more than five. The ACC and SEC were next in line with five each, just ahead of the Big 12's three.
The Pac-12 has finished with the most NCAA championships in 52 of the last 58 seasons, while finishing second five times.
Here's a look back at the conference's continued dominance in 2017-18.
