The Territorial Cup game was just a little over two months ago, but that won't stop the Wildcats and Sun Devils from finding ways to spice up the rivalry.
On Monday, first-year ASU head coach Herm Edwards and staff, including linebackers coach and former Arizona Wildcat Antonio Pierce, stopped by Juniperro Serra High School, a football powerhouse in Los Angeles, for a recruiting visit.

ASU is targeting a few Serra players such as four-star 2019 corner back Max Williams, and 2020 prospects, wide receiver LV Bunkley-Shelton and outside linebacker Justin Houston. UA quarterback Khalil Tate played at Serra and wasn't a fan of ASU invading his old stomping grounds, he even called the Sun Devil coaching staff a "scam."
Don’t let them come scam y’all @Serra__Football 🤦🏾♂️ https://t.co/I57WZck2GO

ASU quarterback Manny Wilkins responded to Tate's tweet, but in a respectful manner.
Ain’t no scam, we all want this game to help us provide for our families one day just like you! Coach Herm could be offering someone your coach won’t that’s why they build that relationship. BIGGER THAN FOOTBALL OR A RIVALRY🤞🏾

Tate responded and told "Preacher Wilkins" that he was only joking since the ASU staff was at his alma mater.
lol chill out Preacher Wilkins, they at my old HS recruiting, that’s the joke. Didn’t know a humorous tweet was that serious. Maybe I should have said “LOL” afterward. Sorry if I offended your school🤦🏾♂️ https://t.co/qaw4PCC77q

Tate's Twitter bio reads "Try not to take social media so serious?" Maybe Wilkins should've known Tate was joking around? Regardless, it's the rivalry that keeps on giving. Is it Nov. 24 yet?
