Arizona defensive tackle Tiaoalii Savea is out for the Wildcats' upcoming road contest against the No. 25 Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday.
Savea and cornerback Marquis Groves-Killebrew are listed as out on the first availability report, which was released Wednesday evening. Groves-Killebrew is set to miss his third straight game.
Cincinnati running back Evan Pryor and wide receiver Caleb Goodie are listed as questionable for Saturday.
Savea suffered a leg injury in the second half of Arizona's 24-20 win over the Kansas Jayhawks last week. Savea has 30 tackles this season as a mainstay on Arizona's defensive line alongside senior defensive tackle Deshawn McKnight.
With Savea out, ascending transfer Leroy Palu, redshirt sophomore Julian Savaiinaea and junior college transfer Zac Siulepa, who is 6-6 and roughly 400 pounds, will likely play more defensive snaps. The Wildcats could also conceivably move defensive end Mays Pese, a 6-3, 271-pound freshman, inside.
Pryor is Cincinnati's second-leading rusher with 478 yards and three touchdowns. The Ohio State transfer has missed the last two games with an ankle injury he suffered against Baylor. Goodie is Cincinnati's second-leading receiver behind Cyrus Allen with 380 yards and two touchdowns.
