In the final Associated Press Top 25 Poll of the college football season, the Arizona Wildcats checked in at No. 11, the highest ranking to end a season since 1998.

Arizona is the third-highest ranked Pac-12 team behind No. 2 Washington and No. 7 Oregon.

In Arizona's third season under head coach Jedd Fisch, the Wildcats went 10-3 and ended the year on a seven-game winning streak, the longest since the '98 season, when Arizona went 12-1. With Washington losing to Michigan in the national championship, Arizona has the second-longest active winning streak in college football behind UM.Β Β

The Wildcats also ended the season at No. 9 in ESPN's way-too-early ranking for the 2024 season.Β

Entering next season, the Wildcats return most of their starters and will be among the favorites to win the Big 12. Three teams from the reshaped Big 12 ended the year in the final AP Top 25: Oklahoma State (16), Kansas State (18) and Kansas (23); SEC-bound Oklahoma, the team Arizona beat in the Alamo Bowl, is No. 15.Β
