Just days after he was offered by Arizona, 2019 three-star offensive lineman Jordan Morgan committed to the Wildcats Thursday evening. Morgan is a local standout at Marana High School.
First-year head coach Louie Ramirez tweeted Morgan's commitment.
“Tucson is home to me and for Arizona to give me an opportunity to play the game I love and get a great degree is incredibly humbling.”Jordan Morgan is gonna be a WILDCAT!🚾🔴🔵#Committed | #BearDown | #TigerPride 🐯 pic.twitter.com/uRnAlAGBt4

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Morgan is rated as the No. 129 offensive tackle in his class according to 247 Sports. Morgan chose the Wildcats over Northern Arizona.
Morgan's large frame is ideal for Kevin Sumlin and Noel Mazzone's offense.
At Marana, the Tigers run a spread, uptempo attack that beat teams in a variety of ways. Last season, Marana averaged 436 yards of total offense per game, with Morgan as its anchor on the offensive line.
Morgan is the second in-state recruit to commit to Arizona for 2019, joining Phoenix's Kyle Ostendorp. Morgan also joins quarterback Grant Gunnell and running back Michael Wiley in Arizona's 2019 recruiting class.
