The Arizona Wildcats won't have much time to prepare for UCLA and this week's NCAA Super Regional.
The best-of-three series will start at 6 p.m. Thursday in Los Angeles, according to a schedule released by the Bruins Monday. The teams will play Game 2 on Friday at 6 p.m., with an if-necessary, winner-take-all scheduled for Saturday at 4 p.m.
Unlike last weekend's regionals, these games will be televised. ESPN will carry the Thursday and Saturday games; ESPN2 will televised Friday's game.
The winner of the best-of-three series will advance to Oklahoma City for the Women's College World Series.
The Wildcats advanced to the Super Regionals Saturday with a win over Mississippi State at Hillenbrand Stadium. The Bruins had to work a big longer — and harder: They won three consecutive games Saturday and Sunday to win their regional from the loser's bracket.
This weekend's series is the latest showdown between two of the nation's best softball programs. UCLA swept a three-game series last month at Hillenrband, outscoring the Wildcats 24-12.
