Arizona landed another Texas prospect for its 2025 recruiting class on Tuesday, after three-star Dallas-area wide receiver Terry Shelton committed to the Wildcats, he announced on his social media pages.
Shelton committed to the Wildcats over Boston College, Kansas and Illinois. The 6-4, 200-pound wide receiver is rated by 247Sports.com as the No. 100 wide receiver nationally and the 96th-best overall prospect in Texas for 2025.
In seven games for Ranchview High School last season, Shelton logged 16 catches for 141 yards and four touchdowns.
Shelton, a Carrollton, Texas native, is the fourth 2025 prospect to commit to Arizona since Monday. Shelton joined fellow Texans in three-star Houston-area running back Wesley Yarbrough and San Antonio-area two-way star Sean Robinson, who committed to the Wildcats after taking an official visit to the UA over the weekend.
Arizona has seven total commits for its 2025 recruiting class.
