Three-star NorCal linebacker Jabari Mann signed with the Arizona Wildcats’ 2024 recruiting class on Monday.

Arizona added three-star 2024 linebacker Jabari Mann on Monday. Mann is the first high school prospect to sign with the Wildcats' '24 recruiting class under first-year head coach Brent Brennan.

The 6-0, 210-pound Mann, a senior at Junipero Serra High School in San Bruno, California, signed with San Jose State, but was granted release from his national letter of intent when Brennan left SJSU for Arizona.

Mann is rated by 247Sports.com as the 52nd-best overall prospect in California for the current recruiting cycle.

"He is explosive," said UA linebackers coach Danny Gonzales. "He's really twitchy. As you watch some of the clips, you can see how physical he is. He runs from sideline to sideline. ... He has speed and speed is something you can't coach, so we're really excited to have Jabari on campus."

Gonzales added Mann is "a natural football player."

"There's things that you don't need to coach," Gonzales said. "He follows the ball and can see guys in front of him. He's explosive and can change direction on a whim. When he hits you, you know he hits you."

Including the transfer portal and junior-college additions, the Wildcats have 19 players signed for their 2024 recruiting class.
