Arizona softball centerfielder Regan Shockey was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week following her performances in the Bear Down Fiesta over the weekend.

Cal's Elon Butler received Pac-12 Player of the Week honors, while Washington's Ruby Meylan was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week.

Shockey, a freshman from Chino Hills, California, wentΒ 11 for 16 (.688) at the plate and had five multi-hit games in the Bear Down Fiesta, which included wins over Long Beach State, No. 15 Arkansas and Omaha.

Shockey scored eight runs in the Bear Down Fiesta, including the game-winning run in Arizona's walk-off win over Arkansas. Shockey, who was also nominated for Pac-12 Player of the Week, leads the Pac-12 in batting average (.517). She's third nationally with 15 hits this season.Β

Arizona (10-1) remains at home this week and will host the Hillenbrand Invitational from Thursday through Sunday. The Wildcats face Drake on Thursday at 6 p.m., then play a doubleheader on Friday against Indiana at 4 p.m. and Marshall at 6 p.m.; Arizona battles Indiana and Marshall with the same first-pitch times on Saturday.Β 

The Wildcats wrap up Hillenbrand Invitational play on Sunday against Central Michigan at 11:30 a.m.
