Big 12 play begins in earnest this week, and the oddsmakers apparently envision the conference race playing out the way the rest of us do:

Tight and unpredictable.

There are six league games on the docket Saturday, and only one has a point spread greater than 3.5 points.

The spread among our prognosticators - Star Sports staffers Brett Fera, Michael Lev and Justin Spears - is nonexistent. All three are 11-13 against the number through Week 3.
