Former San Diego State offensive lineman Jonah Rodriguez is transferring to the Arizona Wildcats.

Arizona bolstered its offensive line on Monday, when it landed a commitment from San Diego State transfer tackle Jonah Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is the Wildcats' second offensive line commit since the spring game in late April, along with former Oregon Ducks offensive tackle Michael Wooten.

Rodriguez, a 6-4, 275-pound offensive lineman from San Diego, signed with the Aztecs over Arizona, San Jose State, Colorado, Boise State and Arizona State, among others, out of Madison High School in 2023. Rodriguez entered the transfer portal following a redshirt season with the Aztecs.Β

Arizona has added a dozen players β€” seven combined offensive and defensive linemen β€” through the transfer portal since the hiring of head coach Brent Brennan in January.Β  Β
