University of Arizona vs Houston, Big 12 football | Nov. 15, 2024

Arizona defensive back Marquis Groves-Killebrew mugs for the crowd after getting a sack and pushing back Houston in the third quarter on Nov. 15, 2024.

Arizona's road finale against TCU at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth will kick off at 1 p.m. on ESPN+, the Big 12 announced late Saturday night.ย

It'll be Arizona's second game streamed on ESPN+ this season. It's also Arizona's fifth game that kicks off before 5 p.m. this season.

Arizona (4-6) is a 9.5-point underdog against TCU (6-4), according to DraftKings and FanDuel.ย

The matchup between Arizona (4-6) and TCU (6-4) will mark the third all-time meeting between the two programs. The Wildcats beat the Horned Frogs 35-31 in Fort Worth in 1999. Arizona trailed 25-7, but scored 28 second-half points to beat a TCU team led by star running back LaDanian Tomlinson, who rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown against the Wildcats.ย

It was an ugly first half for Arizona, as UA quarterback Keith Smith (12) fumbles for the second time, with TCUโ€™s Shannon Brazzell recovering the turnover in the second quarter of the Wildcatsโ€™ matchup with the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sept. 6, 1999. A week after the then-No. 4 Wildcats were steamrolled on the road by No. 3 Penn State, Arizona avoided a second straight slip-up thanks to a Smith-to-Dennis Northcutt 30-yard touchdown pass with two minutes to play.

Arizona's two-quarterback offense with Keith Smith and Ortege Jenkins had 337 passing yards, but only had 14 rushing yards on the day. Arizona standout receiver Dennis Northcutt had 10 catches for 257 yards and three touchdowns.ย

The second matchup was a 13-10 win for TCU over the Wildcats in overtime at Arizona Stadium in 2003.

Arizona and TCU kick off on Saturday at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
