Arizona softball released its full 2026 schedule Wednesday, and it is a loaded slate.
The Wildcats will face several of the sport’s heavyweights, including the two programs that have won the past five national championships.

Arizona opens the season Feb. 5 in the Candrea Classic at Hillenbrand Stadium. The Wildcats will play a doubleheader that day against Southern Utah — the prelude to three straight games against Oklahoma, which won four consecutive national titles from 2021-24.
After hosting another multi-team tournament, the Bear Down Fiesta, the following week, plus a midweek game against Nevada, Arizona will travel to Stanford for the DeMarini Invitational. In addition to facing host Stanford on Feb. 19, Arizona will square off against defending national champion Texas on Feb. 20 and 22.
Arizona concludes its preconference slate with the Hillenbrand Invitational Feb. 27-March 1.
The Wildcats’ Big 12 schedule, which was announced earlier this fall, starts with a home series vs. BYU. Arizona then visits Texas Tech — the national runner-up this past season — before hosting ASU.

Four of Arizona’s final five regular-season series are on the road. They include a nonconference set at LSU from April 10-12. The Tigers have made the NCAA Tournament every year it’s been contested since 2006.
Arizona’s final home series is April 24-26 vs. Houston. The final regular-season series is May 1-3 at Utah.
The Big 12 Softball Championship runs May 7-9 in Oklahoma City. NCAA regionals begin May 15.
