Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal, Vijay Singh and fan-favorite John Daly are among the players who have committed to play in the Cologuard Classic, played Feb. 26-March 4 at Omni Tucson National.

The 78-player field will play for a $1.7 million purse; the first-place finisher will earn $255,000.

Other players to commit include Jerry Kelly, Kevin Sutherland, Mark Calcavecchia, Mark O'Meara, Larry Mize, Corey Pavin, Scott Simpson, Jeff Sluman and David Toms.

“The player commitments have been rolling in over the last few weeks,” said J.J. Jewell, Cologuard Classic Tournament Chairman and member of the Tucson Conquistadores.. “We’re excited to see so many incredible champions coming to Tucson. The tournament is a fun family event with a portion of the proceeds benefitting local youth athletic programs.”

The Cologuard Classic, formerly the Tucsosn Conquistadores Classic, will be broadcast March 2-4 on Golf Channel. The winner will join PGA Tour Champions veterans Marco Dawson, Woody Austin and Tom Lehman as Tucson winners.
