FC Tucsonโ€™s Vivien Villarreal, left, celebrates with Ashly Martinez after the two combined for a score against RSL in the second half of their WPSL game at Tucson High School on May 29.

Itโ€™s a busy weekend for FC Tucson as both its menโ€™s and womenโ€™s sides return home.

On Friday night at 7, the FC Tucson men (3-2-2), fresh off their season sweep of defending division champ Redlands FC, host the Southern California Eagles (1-7). FC Tucson beat Redlands 5-1 last week at home after defeating it 2-1 the weekend before on the road.

Five different FCT players scored, a regular season club record, in the win over last yearโ€™s USL League Two Southwest Division champs.

This year, the Men in Black head into the weekend in fourth place in the division, two points behind second-place AMSG FC.

On the womenโ€™s side, FC Tucson (4-1-1) gets a chance at payback against Royals AZ (3-3) with a 7 p.m. game Saturday. Last week in Scottsdale, the Royals handed FCTW their first loss of the season, 4-2.

RSL Southern Arizona (0-5) plays at first-place SC del Sol (5-0-1) on Friday. FC Tucson is in second place in the Desert Conference in the WPSL with 13 points compared to del Solโ€™s 16. RSL is in last place.

FC Tucson has a half-off ticket deal for the womenโ€™s match if you buy a full-priced ticket to the menโ€™s game. Friday is Pride Night, and Saturday is Youth Night

On Sunday, FC Tucson will host a free clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. for ages 9 to 14 at Kino North Stadium. There will be music and food trucks.
