As the Tucson Roadrunners prepare to kick off their 10th season in Southern Arizona, the franchise is focusing on its fans, concentrating more of its home matchups on the weekends.
This season, 28 of the team’s 36 home games will be played on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, up from 26 games last season.

While the Roadrunners will kick off the season on the road against the Ontario Reign on Oct. 10 and 12, that will be followed by a season-high, six-game homestand at Tucson Arena Oct. 18-29.
The home opener vs. Calgary (Oct. 18-19) will be followed by visits from Bakersfield (Oct. 24-25) and Manitoba (Oct. 28-29).
A second six-game homestand is set for Jan. 9-21, 2026, when the Roadrunners will face Iowa (Jan. 9-10), San Jose (Jan. 16-17) and San Diego (Jan. 20-21) in Tucson.
In between those sets, Tucson will host a five-game stretch around the Thanksgiving holiday, taking on Colorado (Nov. 22-23), San Diego (Nov. 26) and Abbotsford (Nov. 28-29).
Other home matchups for 2025 include Coachella Valley (Nov. 7-8), Bakersfield (Dec. 12-13), Calgary (Dec. 27-28) and a New Year’s Eve game vs. San Diego.
In addition to hitting the road for Ontario, this year, the Roadrunners will travel to Iowa (Nov. 1-2), Colorado (Nov. 14-15), Bakersfield (Dec. 3), San Jose (Dec. 5-6) and Abbotsford (Dec. 19-20).
Matchups on the calendar for 2026 include:
– Jan. 2 and 4: at Calgary
– Jan. 24-25: at Henderson
– Jan. 28: at San Diego
– Jan. 30-31: vs. Colorado
– Gem Show road games: Ontario (Feb. 4), Calgary (Feb. 6-7), Coachella Valley (Feb. 13 and 15)
– Feb. 21-22: vs. Ontario
– Six-game road stretch: San Diego (Feb. 25), San Jose (Feb.28-March 1), Ontario (March 4), Bakersfield (March 6-7)
– March 10-11: vs. Henderson
– March 14-15: vs. San Jose
– March 21 and 23: at Manitoba
– March 27-28: vs. Ontario
– Season-long seven-game road trip: San Diego (April 1 and 15), Henderson (April 3-4), Bakersfield (April 8) and Colorado (April 10-11)
– Regular season finale: vs. Henderson (April 17-18)
