Terry still going strong in NBA

To put Jason Terry’s NBA career in context, 16 years and counting (and the 37-year-old says he hopes to play until he’s 40), three Wildcats who came later to UA have retired this season. Loren Woods, an All-Pac-10 center on the 2001 Final Four team, who played in the NBA, and in Lithuania, Turkey, Spain, Iran and Lebanon, was released by Al Riyadi of Beiruit in December and has retired. Hassan Adams, who left the UA in 2005, was released by the Singapore Slingers pro team and has been out of basketball all season. He played in the NBA, in Venezuela, Serbia and the Philippines. And Michael Wright, a two-time All-Pac-10 power forward from the 2001 Final Four team, is also out of basketball for the first time. Wright, who gained Turkish citizenship and played under the name Ali Karadeniz, played his last game for the France Cholet Euroleague team two weeks ago.
