We're taking a trip around our border country through the lens of Tucson restaurants 🌮 El Tour de Mexico is a series that highlights local eateries who specialize in cuisine from different regions of Mexico. Here's what we've written so far:
On South Park Avenue, Magdalena Alvarez is showing off her taco-making expertise, incorporating the many flavors of Baja California to create her show-stopping tacos at Ensenada Street Food.
Since 2022, Carnitas Los Reyes has been serving up the juiciest carnitas tacos, authentic to the ones seen in Michoacán, Mexico, which is famous for their mouthwatering take on the shredded pork dish.
In a white food truck that sits diagonal from the Santa Cruz Catholic Church, Esther Romero and her family bring Sinaloan seafood and all its flavor to Tucson.
