Here are five places you can find snow and pretend it's actually sweater weather.
1. La Encantada's Enchanted Snowfall
What: The upscale mall on Skyline Drive promises snow every weekend, along with live music and hot chocolate provided by Blanco Tacos + Tequila. Bring the kids or make it a date night.
When: Fridays and Saturdays until December 23, 6 and 6:45 p.m.
Where: The La Encantada courtyard at 2905 E. Skyline Drive.
Cost: Free.

2. Pantano Christian Church's December Night
What: All the winter things packed into one event: Cookie and gingerbread house decorating, caroling and marshmallow roasting. Plus a living nativity, live entertainment and snowfall.🌨️ Catch falling snow outside at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. or play in the indoor Winter Wonderland, where snow will fall continuously and kids can have snowball fights with artificial snowballs.
When: Saturday, Dec. 2, 9 and 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Pantano Christian Church, 1755 S. Houghton Road.

3. Free Sno Day at Bahama Buck's
What: This one is kinda cheating, but we will take what we can get. Bahama Buck's is giving out free 8 and 12 ounce shaved ices (Sno) for dine-in customers.
When: Tuesday, Dec. 5, Noon to 10 p.m.
Where: Bahama Buck's, 8585 E. Broadway.

4. "White Christmas" at The Loft Cinema
What: Watch Irving Berlin's "White Christmas," sing along and lob "snow" at your fellow movie-goers. Viewers will receive bags of shredded tissue paper to toss at each other every time the word "snow" is said in the film. This indoor snowball fight also doubles as a toy drive. Bring toys for newborns to 18-year-olds, and Tucson Troop Support will get them to local military kids with deployed parents. You can also bring nonperishable foods.
When: Sunday, Dec. 10 at 4 p.m.
Where: The Loft Cinema, 3233 E. Speedway.

5. Downtown's Parade of Lights Festival
What: Not only does this annual holiday parade have a new route, but the day's festivities will also include 15 tons of snow to play in, including a hill for sledding. Discs to slide on will be provided. The day also includes live music, a tree-lighting ceremony and, of course, the parade.
When: Saturday, Dec. 16 from 3 to 9 p.m.
Where: Jacome Plaza, 101 N. Stone Ave.
Cost: Free.
