Gymnastics World Northwest

Location: Northwest side of town, 3970 W. Ina Road #100 

This gym is run by former Olympic coaches Yoichi Tomita and Don Gutzler. It offers classes for boys and girls as young as 10 months (with parents) to age 18. The classes range from basic gymnastics training to tumbling and competing competitively.

Session 6 is Aug. 15 through Sept. 24 and enrollment has already started. There is an open enrollment policy that allows you to enroll at any time. Check out future sessions on their website.


Gymnastics World Central

Location: Central Tucson, 201 E. Fort Lowell Rd.

Just like Gymnastics World Northwest, there are classes for really young children, older children and competitors. There are classes for boys and girls plus a competitive team.

Heart and Soul Kids Activity Center

Location: North side of town, 5741 N. Oracle Rd. and Oro Valley, 8363 N. Oracle Rd.

Heart and Soul has co-ed classes, classes just for boys, tumbling, dance, music and martial arts.

Rates vary depending on age and how many times your child trains per week but some classes start as low as $44 per month plus an annual membership fee. Check out their prices here.

Old Pueblo Gymnastics Academy

Location: East side of town, 7670 E. Wrightstown Rd.

There's trapeze and parkour at this gym on top of the regular gymnastics lesson. The cool thing about this gym is you can do an adult bootcamp if you want a different kind of workout.

Tumbleweeds Gymnastics

Location: West side of town, 1859 W. Grant Rd. Suite 101

Just like the rest, this gym has classes for parents with children under 3 years old, different levels and a competitive team.

When is the next session?

Sessions are six weeks and they're in the middle of one. Session 5 begins Sept. 12 and runs through Oct. 22. 


Springs Gymnastics

Location: Near Rita Ranch, 9694 E. Rita Commerce Ct.

This gym offers classes for both girls and boys who want to get into gymnastics. Most classes are co-ed and train children as young as toddlers. You can also learn how to tumble and, if you're qualified, join their competitive team.

  • This gym offers Toddler Time on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and it's only $5 per child.

Go to Get Air

Location: Central Tucson, 330 S. Toole Ave.

If your kid just needs to jump around, take them catch some air. There are so many trampolines, a court for the little ones (anyone under 46") and a foam pit.

  • Monday to Thursday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Saturday – 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. 
  • Sunday – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
